I started working in Sketchup when I was in middle school for fun. I watched lots of videos to figure out how the software worked and how to create different shapes. For a while, I entertained the idea of becoming an architect when I grew up. While many of my Sketchup creations were never saved, I was able to salvage some files from my work (and play) in high school...
Building Concept
A stylized concept of an office building that I created in 2014. In this project I worked on learning how to create curves on the edges of my buildings.
Restaurant Concept
A concept for a restaurant I created in 2014. It features outdoor tables, beautiful windows, and no door.
Fallingwater
The famouse Fallingwater by Frank Lloyd Wright, recreated by me. I estimated all of the measurements here, so nothing is to scale. It was simply practice in recreating architectural design.
Athletic Center
This is my high school's athletic center. I created this to get extra credit in my geometry class. I walked off all the sides of the building and made my estimations of it's height as accurate as I could at the time. I was very happy with the result.
Below I have linked the .skp file that contains all of these projects.
To open the file, download it, then open it using the Sketchup web viewer:
